Private Edition began as a small beauty counter in a high end
boutique in 1981, and became the first beauty and cosmetic store
in Nashville, TN to offer prestige cosmetic brands. 

Founder and CEO Linda Roberts’ goal has remained the same - to provide women a personalized experience and make them feel beautiful.  Through access to the best makeup, skincare, haircare products and services, Linda empowers women to be the best version of themselves. 

Private Edition has a long history of introducing premier beauty brands to Nashville - Trish McEvoy, Clarins, La Mer, Sisley, Creed, Therapy Systems, Omorovicza, and By Terry to name a few. We are proud to bring products to market that make a difference for
our clients.

In addition to the vast array of premier beauty offerings, Private Edition operates a state of the art Advanced Treatment Center that offers a comprehensive menu of aesthetic services - facials, silk peels, waxing, Norvell sunless tanning and more. With an average tenure of 12+ years, our loyal aesthetician team is committed to providing clients with the best experience.

Our Founder

Linda Roberts started Private Edition with a small profit sharing check and a goal to bring prestige cosmetics to Nashville, TN.  Since 1981 she has built a beauty empire, opening Private Edition, multiple locations of The Cosmetic Market across the Southeast and a home interiors store Absolution. In addition, she envisioned and developed Therapy Systems, a skincare and cosmetics line.

Linda is a long time resident of Nashville, TN.  She has a B.A. from Radford Women’s College. She has been married to Joe Roberts for over 38 years and has three children and three adored grandchildren.
